MDA1300 - My Groups Lighting Video
One of our assignment were to shoot 2 identical scenes, but in different locations and using different lighting. The first clip you see was using artificial and natural light, and the second clip was all artificial. We used a basic 3 point lighting, consisting of the back light, key light and fill. We managed to make it look realistic and as if it was all natural light.

MDA1800 - Assignment 3
Parable Of The Fig Tree
Luke 21:29-32 29 He told them a parable. "See the fig tree, and all the trees. When they are already budding, you see it and know by your own selves that the summer is already near. Even so you also, when you see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near. Most assuredly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all things are accomplished." (web)
Above I have copy and paster a Jesus Parable, Below I will write what would be shown on the screen for each scene:
Scene 1: From a long shot, we will see a group of trees, with one tree standing out, which is the fig tree. The fig tree is focused and the others are a minor blur in the background.
Scene 2: A close up of the branches and figs budding on the end of them, maybe blowing in the wind. The pre-budding of the figs will tell the audience that summer is near and that the tree will continue to grow in good health.
Scene 3: The budding figs could symbolize new life and creation which would give the audience the impression that the Kingdom of God is close by. A Medium close up of the fig tree and the growing buds.

MDA1800 - Assignment 2
Task - Identify an episode in a film, which you think aligns with an event in Campbell's The Hero's Journey.
Zack and Miri make a porno, written and directed by Kevin Smith, is a film about two best friends (Seth Rogen & Elizibeth Banks) who are living together and encounter financial problems. I think the film is very humorous and the director uses the storyline to his advantage as he shows the fun side to a struggle in life, which at one point, everyone goes through. So, the call to adventure is when Zack and Miri get overwhelmed by all the unpaid bills sitting on their kitchen counter and realise their day jobs aren't enough. A friend of an old friend has a conversation with Zack about his job, which is a gay porn actor. Zack proposes the idea of making porn with Miri and then selling it to pay off their bills. Miri agrees, and the rest is history.
(I Didn't get in all the notes from the class and have not yet purchased the book for this module, sorry for the short essay)
